Federal Family Violence Prevention And Services Grant-American Response Plan Act (FVPSA-DV)

Purpose
Provides onetime funding in federal fiscal year 2020 for domestic violence programs to prevent, prepare for, and respond to the COVID-19 public health emergency with an intentional focus on increasing access to COVID-19 testing, vaccines, and mobile health units to mitigate the spread of this virus and increase supports for domestic violence survivors and their dependents. This supplemental funding provides the flexibility for how domestic violence programs respond to the evolving needs of domestic violence survivors within communities to ensure the continuity of shelter and supportive services.
